“Precision in the numbers builds trust in the business.”
Hunter brings fresh technical expertise and Big Four audit training to Magnolia Advisory Group. His experience at KPMG provided him with exposure to the highest standards in financial reporting and internal controls.
KPMG Audit Intern: Hunter gained hands-on experience in financial statement audits, internal controls evaluation, and substantive testing under PCAOB and GAAP standards. This work exposed him to how large firms structure their audit approach — and how those same principles apply to small business accounting.
Technical Foundation: Hunter's audit experience taught him to identify control weaknesses, test financial accuracy, and document findings in a way that's actionable for clients. He understands the difference between "books that are done" and "books that are audit-ready."
